Still have an old phone book lying around? Phone books can be recycled year round by placing them on top of your curbside recycling or by taking them to the Recycle America recycling center at 1100 E. Commercial Row in Reno. A special thanks to AT&T Project Redirectory, Scolari’s, Recycle America, Washoe County Environmental Health, and area parks for all your support!

Spring Quarter of Adopt-A-Spot Cleanups, March-May

Road SignTo schedule your spring cleanup contact the KTMB office at 775.851.5185 or email maia@beautiful.reno.nv.us. Post cleanup reports are the only way we can track cleanups, so please make sure they get to the KTMB office. If you lost your post-cleanup report, please download one at www.ktmb.org/spot.htm and send it in. Adopters are required to clean their spots at least three times per year.

KTMB would like to recognize cleanups that were conducted during the winter quarter. These sponsors include: Faith Bible Church, Hidden Valley Homeowners Association, Jim Smith & Family, Moira Shea – Keller Williams Group One Realty-Sparks, Rainshadow Charter High School, Intuit: We Care and Give Back Program, and High Desert Montessori School who went the extra mile and braved the cold to keep their spot clean. Thanks! If you have pictures of your latest cleanup, send them to us and we will put a few in the Summer Newsletter! We would also like to thank our newest members of the Adopt-A-Spot community, GameTech International, Signature Landscapes, LLC and Digestive Health Associates.
