are only one part of keeping our open spaces clean. Help us prevent illegal
dumping in our community! Report any illegal dumping in progress by calling
775.334.COPS. To report an illegal dump site call 775.328.2434. Please
do not remove any items from the dump site! Washoe County Sheriff’s

Helping
to Clean Up the Truckee River for a Decade! |
|
The 10th Annual Truckee River Clean-up is set for Saturday, September
29, 2007 from 9 – noon. Last year over 300 volunteers pulled
13 tons of trash from the river and stenciled 60 storm drains to keep
future dumping out of the river. Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful is working
in partnership with Nevada Eco-Net, City of Reno, City of Sparks, Washoe
County, Reno-Sparks Indian Colony, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern
Nevada to find even more volunteers for this year’s event. We are
still in the planning stages so visit www.ktmb.org
