KTMB is announcing the return of our annual Christmas Tree Recycling Program, powered by NV Energy Foundation, which will run from December 26th through January 11th, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, at 3 locations: Reno Sports Complex, Bartley Ranch Park, and Shadow Mountain Sports Complex.

A suggested donation of $5 or more is requested to keep the program running. Trees must be free of lights, ornaments, flocking, tinsel, and no wreaths, please. These trees will be turned into mulch for area parks and beautification projects in Reno and Sparks.

Feeling helpful this holiday season? We are seeking volunteers to help us run our 3 sites. We have 2 shifts running daily: the morning shift is from 9 AM - 1 PM, and the afternoon shift is from 1 PM to 4:30 PM.

We also need business groups and organizations to fill our volunteer slots! Interested organizations can contact our Beautifications and Cleanups Manager, Amanda Mulholland, at amanda@ktmb.org or call at (775)851-5185.
