In partnership with Washoe County, KTMB is hosting three hands-on workshops focused on all things composting. In true KTMB fashion, we will also discover how we can eliminate and reduce food waste at the source! Join us to learn how to get started, improve your approach, and understand why it matters. You’ll leave feeling confident and empowered to reduce food waste and compost at home or within your community.
Registered attendees are welcome to bring food waste from home to build into a working pile. Please note, no more than 5 gallons of food waste are allowed per registered attendee.
Workshop Fee: $15 per attendee
All fees go to KTMB and support our programming. To register for this event, attendees must be over the age of 18. Children under 12 attend free.
Refunds and Cancellations: A cancellation made 48 hours before the event will receive a full refund. If the attendee fails to cancel at least 48 hours before the event, all payments made to KTMB will be forfeited.
