Purpose & Paper: A Sustainable Holiday Workshop

  • The Holland Project 140 Vesta Street Reno, NV, 89502 United States (map)

Did you know that paper is the 3rd most thrown-away thing in Washoe County? KTMB is teaming up with the Holland Project to bring you the hands-on Purpose and Paper: A Sustainable Holiday Workshop on Saturday, December 13th, from 10 AM - 12 PM.

Participants will learn the art of handmade papermaking using recycled materials while exploring waste-reduction strategies this holiday season. Whether you're an artist, an environmental advocate, or just curious about sustainable crafts, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn, create, and contribute to a greener planet – one sheet of paper at a time.

What to Expect:

  • Guided instruction on making beautiful, handmade paper from recycled scraps

  • Insight into paper waste reduction and sustainable material choices

  • Creative ideas for transforming your handmade paper into holiday ornaments, greeting cards, and gifts

  • More Holiday Zero Waste tips!

Space is limited. Please RSVP using the form below. We will have a waitlist & notify waitlisted folks of openings in registration order.
