Across 26 sites spread throughout our region, 788 volunteers removed:
545,166 pounds of litter (including 7 vehicles, 216 tires, and 16 sharps)
62,500 pounds of green waste and 58,314 pounds of invasive weeds
Planted 54 trees and installed 607 plants
Spread 210 yards of mulch in parks and other beautification projects
Total pounds of waste removed from our Truckee Meadows equals 665,980 pounds! That’s over 330 tons!
