We are so excited to welcome you this Thursday, August 20th, to KTMB’s Annual Raise the River Fundraiser at the National Automobile Museum. Below you’ll find answers to many of the questions you might have, and some you didn’t know you wanted to ask.

What time does everything start? 

Event check-in begins at 4:30 PM, where you’ll get your reusable stemless wine glass for the cocktail reception on the patio.
At 6:30 PM, we will begin our buffet-style dinner and the program portion of the event.

Where can I park?
Free parking will be available in the lot directly across from the Automobile Museum (2 Museum Dr, Reno, NV 89501). Look for the "KTMB Event Parking” banners along the fence. Handicap parking will be available at the Automobile Museum. Feel free to drop off guests at the museum and then park in the lot.

What should I wear?
It’s going to be warm outside, so dress accordingly. As for style, it is all you, but think business-casual patio party. There will also be a Photo Booth on hand to capture the evening, so keep that in mind when picking your outfit for the evening. 📸😁

What can I expect at the event?

We’ll start with a Cocktail-style reception from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, featuring activities and cocktails, including mocktails and coffee drinks. Mix and mingle with business and community leaders while you learn more about KTMB, our sponsors, and our supporters. You might even make a new friend or two!

You can also win fabulous prizes featured on our Tesla’s Love Where You Live Prize Wall. Possible prizes include experiences from Red Hawk Golf, Mt. Rose Ski, The Row, NV State Parks, Patagonia, Jade Lotus Shop, multiple restaurants, and tons more beloved local spots! Our Love Where You Live Prize Wall is simple and fun! There will be two options: a $50 pick-a-square to win a prize or a $100 pick-a-square to win a higher-value prize. You will get your prize on the spot!

Is there anything else you can win?

We’re glad you asked! For $250 donation, you can purchase a raffle ticket for a few high-value items like a season pass to Sugar Bowl, a Staycation at The Row, a fly fishing experience with Trout Creek Outfitters, and more! The best part is that you can choose which one you want! We will announce the winners during the dinner portion of the program.

What are we having for dinner?

You won’t go hungry with our delicious buffet-style dinner from Savory Catering, loaded with Caesar Salad, Mango Black Bean Salad, Mashed Potatoes, Cornbread, and entrees of mouthwatering Roasted Chicken, Georgia Chop Pork, and Local Sausages from Butcher Boy. Followed by delicious desserts from the Grand Sierra Resort. A bottle of red and white wine will be provided at every table.

Still Thirsty?

Extra wine will be available for sale to enjoy with dinner or take home.

All proceeds go to KTMB to help keep the Truckee Meadows beautiful!
KTMB staff and volunteers will be present to assist you in having a wonderful night. The event will end by 9 PM. We highly encourage guests to carpool with a designated driver or reserve a rideshare. Your safety is our priority, always.
