KTMB is working with Sun Valley General Improvement District for another Saturday Morning Cleanup on May 4th from 9am to 1pm at the Sun Valley Community Park. Volunteers will focus primarily on litter picking, debris removal, and other tasks.
Where: Meeting at Sun Valley Community Park - 115 Sixth Ave, Sun Valley, NV 89433.
Directions: Driving north on Sun Valley Blvd, turn left on Sixth Ave and take the first right into the park's parking lot. Follow the signs.
Why: Sun Valley Community Park is an active park with various recreational facilities. Let's get it ready for summer sports and activities! Volunteers will focus primarily on litter picking, debris removal, and other tasks as assigned.
How: KTMB will provide all the tools/supplies/snacks (trash grabbers, bags, gloves, rakes, shovels, etc.) and dispose of all the trash/debris. Volunteers are required to wear appropriate clothing (shorts are okay) and close-toed shoes. If you have work gloves, bring them; otherwise, KTMB will supply them. Bring a water bottle. KTMB will provide all the rest. This project is a family-friendly project; all ages are welcome.
